The Passing of Kyoshi John Salasko
Monday, March 6, 2017 at 7:28AM Shorinjiryu Family,
I regret to inform you that on March 2, 2017 at approximately 10:00AM Kyoshi John Salasko passed away. He had difficulties in recent months and was in and out of the hospital. He returned home from his most recent hospital stay on Monday in order to be close to family.
There are no details at this time except to say that he will be cremated near his home in Georgia and that the family will plan a service to be held in New Jersey sometime in the future. I will be sure to keep you informed.
This is a most sorrowful occasion for myself and all of Shorinjiryu.
